Bookit, ASI’s Internet Booking Engine, is tailored to supply the airline’s retail and trade customers with a full featured, completely integrated, web based booking system to reduce sales costs. It can interface with any CRS.

The retail consumer selects their itinerary and general traveler information via pull down boxes. The system, based on availability, will then return data meeting the customer’s criteria, with fare information. After flights are selected, the system allows you to book the reservation, pay for it, and end the transaction by generating your receipt. Additional facilities include support for flight status inquiry, frequent flyer activity, and account status.

Trade customers can log in and record their IATA number to facilitate the tracking of commissions due. Documentation includes each itinerary, receipt and confirmation, and will be emailed directly to the travel agent’s recorded IATA address. This minimizes abuse of the commission system.

The Administrative Interface is a support system to facilitate the management of flight schedules, tariffs, rules, and contract issues such as code sharing and partners. This is applicable whether the system is self-contained or accessed via the host CRS.

Additional services include reporting and graphical analysis of all data captured and managed by Bookit. Data is traced to the lowest level to facilitate this reporting on any detail or summary basis required.
